    Pre-qualify online

    Pre-qualification takes about 10 minutes through our financing partner's secure portal. Soft credit check only — no impact to your score.

    Project starts on schedule

    Once funding is approved, we lock in your start date. Materials get ordered, permits get pulled, and the crew shows up the day we said they would.

Financing questions.

Will pre-qualification affect my credit score?
No. Pre-qualification uses a soft credit check that does not appear on your credit report. A hard pull only happens if you choose to formally apply.
Do I have to use JVB's financing partner?
No. Many of our customers use a HELOC, home equity loan, or savings. We're happy to coordinate with any lender — and we offer a cash/check discount for customers who pay milestones directly.
Can I finance just part of the project?
Yes. Some customers finance the bulk of the work and pay for finishes (countertops, fixtures, appliances) out of pocket. We structure the contract however makes sense for your budget.
What credit score do I need?
Most home improvement loans require a 640+ FICO. The 0% promotional financing typically requires 680+. HELOCs and home equity lines depend on your bank. We can help you understand which options fit your profile.
How long does approval take?
Pre-qualification is instant. Full approval and funding usually takes 3–5 business days for unsecured loans. HELOCs take longer (typically 3–6 weeks) but offer lower rates.
