Construction framework against golden-hour sky in Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach's
full-service contractor

14 trades. One licensed contractor. Every crew member works for Javier directly — no outsourcing, no finger-pointing, no surprises. Just honest, elevated craftsmanship from demolition through final walkthrough.

2012

Javier Vazquez Bermudez didn't start behind a desk — he started on job sites. Before he ever held a contractor's license, he spent years framing walls, running conduit, setting tile, and hanging drywall. He learned every trade from the inside, earning the trust of mentors who demanded precision and refused shortcuts.

That hands-on foundation became JVB Construction's defining advantage. When Javier earned his general contractor's license and established JVB in 2012, he made a decision most contractors avoid: keep every trade in-house. No subcontractor roulette. No blaming the "other guy." Every electrician, plumber, tile setter, and painter on a JVB project answers directly to Javier.

Over twelve years later, that model hasn't changed. JVB has grown to 14 specialized trade divisions, each trained to the same uncompromising standard. The result is a level of coordination, quality, and accountability that homeowners rarely experience — and never forget.

Our Philosophy

Three principles behind
every project

01

Materials Matter

Every JVB project uses premium-grade products — from the lumber hidden behind drywall to the fixtures you touch every day. Javier never cuts material costs to pad margins. If a product doesn't meet his standard, it doesn't enter the job site.

02

Skill is Earned

JVB doesn't hire subcontractors off a list. Every crew member is trained in-house under Javier's direct oversight. That means consistent technique, consistent standards, and a team that communicates without friction because they work together every day.

03

Transparency is Non-Negotiable

Before work begins, you receive a detailed scope of work, a fixed price, and a realistic timeline. No vague estimates. No hidden fees. No "we'll figure it out as we go." If something changes, you hear about it immediately — with options, not excuses.

What Sets JVB Apart

One contractor,
fourteen trades

Most general contractors are project managers. They bid out every specialty — electrical, plumbing, tile, paint — to the lowest-priced sub available that week. The result is a revolving door of crews who've never worked together, different standards on every phase, and a homeowner caught in the middle when something goes wrong.

JVB operates differently. Javier built each trade division himself, trained to his specifications.

Scheduling tightens

In-house crews coordinate directly — no waiting on third-party availability. When the framing crew finishes, electrical starts the next morning because they share the same schedule and the same project manager.

Quality becomes consistent

Every trade follows JVB's internal standards, not their own. The tile setter knows exactly how Javier expects backer board installed. The painter knows the prep protocol before a single coat goes on. Consistency across 14 trades means a seamless finished product.

Accountability is clear

There's no finger-pointing between subcontractors. If something needs to be corrected, Javier handles it internally — immediately. One point of contact, one standard, one person responsible.

Local Roots

Built for
Huntington Beach

Javier doesn't just work in Huntington Beach — he's built his business and reputation here. He knows the neighborhoods block by block: the mid-century builds near the pier that need careful structural upgrades, the newer tracts in Seacliff where expansion potential is highest, the coastal properties in Sunset Beach that demand moisture-resistant materials and corrosion-proof hardware.

He understands local permitting processes, HOA requirements, soil conditions, and the building styles that define each pocket of the city. That local knowledge translates directly into better planning, fewer surprises, and a finished product that fits its environment — because it was built by someone who genuinely knows it.
