§ 03 — Selected Work

Three projects.
One standard.

A small slice of recent JVB jobsites. Every project below was built start to finish by our in-house crew — demo through final coat — under one foreman, one schedule, and one fixed-price proposal.

§ 04 — Why JVB

One team handles
every trade.

Most contractors coordinate between five or six subcontractors on a single remodel. That creates scheduling conflicts, finger-pointing when problems arise, and a homeowner stuck in the middle managing a project they hired someone else to manage.

Javier oversees every phase personally. Our electricians, plumbers, flooring installers, drywall finishers, and painters are all part of the same team. The result is a project that stays on schedule, stays on budget, and meets the standard you were promised on day one.

§ 08 — Common Questions

Five questions
everyone asks.

The honest answers. If yours isn't here, call Javier directly at (714) 794-5503.

  1. 01 How much does a kitchen or bathroom remodel cost?

Most Huntington Beach kitchen remodels we complete fall between $55,000 and $140,000 depending on cabinetry grade, counter material, and whether walls are moving. Bathrooms run $28,000 to $75,000. We give you a fixed-price proposal — no allowances, no surprises — before any work starts.

  2. 02 How long does a typical project take?

Bathrooms run 3–5 weeks. Kitchens run 6–10 weeks. Whole-house remodels and additions take longer. Because every trade is on our payroll, we never lose two weeks waiting for a subcontractor to show up — projects that take other contractors three months we usually finish in seven weeks.

  3. 03 Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. JVB Construction is a licensed California general contractor, fully bonded, and carries general liability and workers comp insurance for every employee on every jobsite. License # and certificates available on request.

  4. 04 What kind of warranty do you offer?

Two-year workmanship warranty on every project we complete. If something we built fails, we come back and fix it on our dime. Manufacturer warranties on materials and fixtures pass through to you in writing at project close.

  5. 05 How do you handle change orders mid-project?

In writing, with a clear price and schedule impact, before the change is made. We will not start additional work without your signature on the change order. Most of our projects finish with one or two minor change orders — never the runaway scope you hear horror stories about.
